September 2008 Verbal Impact Newsletter
Welcome to the September 2008 edition of Verbal Impact. This is a monthly newsletter, published usually the first week of the month. Of course, this is the first time my newsletter is early. And I’m sure many astute readers have noticed that there was no August edition. I apologize for that. I was too focused on the NGH convention to publish.

The theme for the month is Education. I have always loved Autumn and the beginning of a new school year. Autumn has not yet arrived, but go to any department store and you can see lots of long sleeves and sweaters, even here in Florida, which never has Autumn. Here we just wear longer shorts, instead of the usual short shorts.

I guess that’s where sophisticated comes from. The S_O_P_H is from the Greek Goddess of wisdom, Sophia. Oops, the Romanization of Athena. Oops, that was Minerva. So who is Sophia, and why are all the words starting with Soph having something to do with wisdom? Don’t you just love food? Come on, I know you love it! What kind of food do you love most? I just read a book called The Self-Hypnosis Diet, by the Gurgeviches. I’m almost done and I know the last 5 pounds are the easiest, because I read that positive attitude and beliefs are very important while attaining your perfect weight, as well as your relationship with food. I have already dematerialized 10 pounds. They have not been lost, check out:
